Home/Data security is so important, how do you keep our information secure?

The security of your data is also our utmost concern. All systems and data meet HIPAA requirements for storage and access.

Centralized Control
The First Healthcare Compliance online system component is “cloud-based,” meaning all data and software resides on a central computer server. The servers are located in physically secure locations within the United States. No data is stored on a local computer. In addition, our servers are firewall protected and monitored regularly by security experts to help protect against security breaches.

Data Security
Your data is secure both while it is stored on the servers and while it travels between the servers and your computer. All data is stored in an encrypted format making it readable only by our system. Your account information is accessed via a unique login with a secure password that only you and the First Healthcare Compliance administrator can access and the system enforces “strong” passwords that are difficult for a third party to guess. The web-based portal is protected by a 256-bit Extended Validation (EV) secure (SSL) certificate issued by Thawte – one of the world’s leading certification authorities.
