This course covers new requirements, trends and best practices to help healthcare providers understand the critical importance of a safe and compliant environment of care.
Educational Objectives:
- Reviews specific code requirements (NFPA 101 and 99) that apply to regulated health care facilities by CMS and other authorities having jurisdiction;
- Highlights new code requirements that are now being enforced by CMS including annual Fire Door Assembly Inspection (FDAI) and the NFPA 99 Risk Assessment process;
